Reefers
3000R
For
nearly a century, Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company has been
designing, engineering, and building the most advanced and
innovative trailers in the world. With more "firsts," than any
other trailer manufacturer, Utility has consistently led the way
in specification improvements that have become industry
standards. Like foam-in-place insulation that provides a full
insulation envelope within the trailer, sealed "life-time" wiring
harnesses, and standard stainless steel door frames. And so many
more ... like the Barrier Door, rivet-less lining, rust proofed
king pin structures, and 100% hardwood floor fillers.
Major
developments that have advanced not just Utility trailers, but the
entire transportation industry... evolutionary breakthroughs that
have culminated the strong, yet light weight high payload trailers
of today.
The 3000R
is typically 500-800 pounds lighter than comparably equipped
reefers, for unparalleled productivity gains, Added cube and
greater payloads can mean fewer trips for you. Less trips create
a greater profit contribution to your bottom line. The
3000R's
built-in strength and durability also means less downtime, less
maintenance for even greater productivity. for today, tomorrow,
and for years to come. The industry's HIGHEST rated standard
floor with 16,000 LB. capacity.

Dry Vans
3000D
Utility's
stainless steel rear door frame is engineered for low maintenance,
lower life cycle costs, and high durability. For added stiffness
to resist dock impact damage, the high strength stainless steel
buckplate features 3/8" thick bang plate and light protection
bars. Utility's heavy duty rear door frame design provides 110'
of door opening, and effortless closing. For maximum strength and
durability, the threshold plate is fully welded to both the
buckplate and the 24" deep side gussets. Extra floor support is
built-in at the rear threshold with two 5 1/8" deep steel channel
crossmembers welded to both the slide subframe and the bottom of
the threshold plate.
3000D-X
All 3000D-X
models use traditional Sheet and Post construction for
greater durability and ease of repair. Utility's unique sandwich
sidewall design uses recessed "squeezed" rivets to attach the
interior lining galvanized steel wall panels to the side posts.
This construction technique provides a snag-resistant, cargo
friendly interior. Lining panels are finished with a protective,
acrylic coating as standard. Pre-painted white panels are also
available.

Flatbeds
Center Frame
When
it comes to Center Frame flatbeds, the Utility center frame takes
center stage. Designed for heavy-duty use, Utility's high
strength-to-weight ratio engineering yields a full beam capacity
rating of 80,000 lbs. evenly distributed, up to 56,000 lbs.
concentrated over ten feet, and as much as 50,000 lbs. single coil
in the center.

Drop Deck
For hauling awkward loads, nothing goes the distance like the
Drop Deck. This heavy-duty, light-weight, dual-axle, drop frame
flatbed features a main beam with a large radius in the drop area
to allow stress to flow through the entire structure. And for
additional strength, another unique feature is the one-piece
continuous bottom flange, along with a massive 1/4", one piece
steel rear buckplate. Capacity ratings are the same as for the
Center Frame.
Combo
For
applications that require maximum strength and a significant
decrease in tare weight, the Utility Comboflat has your
combination. Built with the efficient use of aluminum and steel,
the Utility Comboflat features the same high capacity ratings as
the Enterprise Center Frame. It also feature heavy duty aluminum
side rails complete with pockets and/or pipe spools located at
each crossmember, integral sliding cinch track, one piece
pre-cambered 26" deep main beams with an 80,000 Ib.* rating, and a
heavy-duty rear buck plate made of aluminum and steel. For high
strength and low weight, minimizing stress and maximizing trailer
life, the Utility Comboflat is an unbeatable combination.
Wide Frame
Utility's
wide frame flatbeds will leave you wide-eyed at just how strong,
reliable, and yet light weight a wide frame can be. Wide frame
models are available in both standard and heavy duty models with
beam capacity ranging from 62,000 to 80,000 pounds. The standard
duty Utility wide frame is an extremely lightweight trailer, yet
carries many of the features of out heavier duty flatbeds, and has
Utility quality built in.
The heavy duty model gets the job done, without sacrificing the
lightweight advantages of the wide frame design. By using a
combination of 6" and 10" deep aluminum crossmembers located
forward of the I-beam rear subframe, Utility is able to approach
heavy duty center frame payload capacities.
Doubles
For
many applications including agriculture, Utility's flatbed doubles
are sure to grow on you. Available in both center and wide frame
models, both feature a beam rating of 30,000 Ibs. distributed load
capacity.* The pull trailer also features a full course, all
features a full turn ball bearing large diameter precision
turntable, and of course, all feature the undisputed industry
leader in the manufacturing of flatbed doubles.
